Celebrate the spirit of fall at the Milford Pumpkin Festival, a cherished annual tradition in Milford, New Hampshire, that brings the community together for a weekend of festive fun, creativity, and local pride. Held in the heart of historic downtown Milford, this free, family-friendly event is one of the most anticipated autumn festivals in New England.
What began in the late 1970s as a small community gathering has grown into a vibrant celebration that draws thousands of visitors from across the region. The festival features something for everyone, including:
Pumpkin Carving Contests – Watch as artists and amateurs alike transform pumpkins into incredible works of art.
Live Music – Enjoy performances from local bands and musicians that keep the atmosphere lively all weekend long.
Delicious Food – Sample a wide variety of food from local vendors, including seasonal favorites and pumpkin-themed treats.
Artisan Market – Browse handcrafted goods from talented local artisans and makers. Located throughout downtown, both outdoors around the Oval and inside the shops and businesses that line it
Family Activities – With games, crafts, and entertainment for all ages, it’s the perfect outing for families.
I’ll be set up inside Frame Theory (227-2 Union Square, Milford, NH), who has generously invited me and a few other artists to host booths in their store throughout the weekend!
